On a completely unrelated note:

Ed: I'm sure these brief inspirational statements I make now won't come back to haunt me forty episodes from now.

........ *-Squirms- with happiness.* Dear God, it makes me beyond happy, when I say, "Hey did anyone notice this?" and everyone else I know goes, "No. We're not pathetic, like you." "Stop being so obsessed" and "Nit-picky, much?"

and later come to find that someone else noticed it, too.

This will last until thirty seconds after I'm done reading this 'summary.'
I am way too amused by these 'short crack summaries of FMA.'

Conqueror of Shamballa in five minutes = win.

Edit:
I resisted quoting actual episodes, but this one is short. And clearly proves a very valid point.

Episode 43: Stray Dog Ran Away

Roy: Okay. Now that I've accepted orders to track you down and kill you on sight as a traitor to the organization which I tricked you into joining when you were young and vulnerable, now that I've used and manipulated you constantly for several years, now that it's revealed that I've withheld information vital to you and your brother's quest, would you care to explain exactly why you felt you couldn't trust me, Ed?
Ed: Colonel, exactly what kinds of drugs did you people do back in officer's training school?

*flails*

Do you know how mad I used to get at that epsiode? Like, Jesus, Roy, do the brain cells actually connect? We're talking about someone already viciously suspicious and with good reason, and you further fuck with his head for a whole series, manipulate him, withhold important information from him, come after him with a bunch of soldiers - and then you are surprised. *Surprised*. That he doesn't trust you?

One of those head banging off the arm of the sofa moments. Jesus, Roy ^^;

Very well put, I think.

Seriously. One of the best scenes to prove that you don't have to be blonde to have a blonde moment, in FMA.
